Ten killed in Istanbul blast

ISTANBUL - A suicide bomber thought to be from Syria killed at least 10 people, many of them German tourists, in Istanbul's historic heart, an attack officials said was probably planned by Islamic State.

Wall Street posts strong gains as oil prices rise 10:02am EST

English doctors strike for first time in 40 years

English doctors stage their first strike in 40 years over government plans to reform pay and working conditions. Hospitals are only able to provide emergency care during the 24-hour walkout, with Sandwell Hospital in Birmingham trying to order its doctors back after being overwhelmed by patients.
