'Perfect' star Rue playing 'Nurses'

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Former "Less Than Perfect" star Sara Rue is set to join Fox's one-hour pilot "Nurses," about the lives and loves of a team of nurses.

Rue will play one of them, a married woman who frequents online dating sites. For four years, Rue played the lead on ABC's comedy series "Less Than Perfect." She also starred in the WB's "Popular."

In other pilot casting announcements:

= Jonathan Cake will play two roles on NBC's comedy pilot "The Mastersons of Manhattan," which revolved around two socialite sisters. Cake will play identical twin brothers Roger and Marshall. Roger is married to one of the Masterson sisters (Natasha Richardson), while Marshall is the other sister's deceased husband. Cake's recent series credits include NBC's "Inconceivable" and ABC's "Empire" and "Six Degrees."

= Aubrey Dollar has landed one of the leads in ABC's drama pilot "Women's Murder Club," about four women working together to solve murder cases. Dollar will play one of them, a crime reporter. Her series credits include Fox's "Point Pleasant."

= Jaime Murray will co-star opposite Ron Eldard in CBS' drama pilot "Demons," which centers on an ex-Jesuit priest/psychologist (Eldard) who performs exorcisms. Murray, star of the BBC/AMC series "Hustle," will play a neurologist with a great passion for investigating the paranormal, including demonic.

= and Glenn Fitzgerald has joined ABC's drama pilot "Dirty Sexy Money," about an idealistic young lawyer (Peter Krause) who inherits the job of representing the Darlings -- a rich, powerful and ethically flexible family -- after his father dies. Fitzgerald (HBO's "Six Feet Under") will play Brian Darling, a minister who might be hiding some dark secrets.
