Whole Foods to buy Wild Oats for $565 million

NEW YORK Feb 21 (Reuters) - Whole Foods Market, Inc. WFMI.O on Wednesday said it has agreed to buy Wild Oats Markets OATS.O for $18.50 per share in cash, or around $565 million, in a deal that would bring the natural and organic foods retailers together under one roof.

The offer is an 18 percent premium to its closing price on Wednesday.
