Iran won't bow to pressure on atomic work: president

NATANZ, Iran | Mon Apr 9, 2007 10:05am EDT

NATANZ, Iran (Reuters) - Iran will not bow to pressure by countries trying to stop it from continuing its nuclear program, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday.

"Iran will not yield to pressure and will continue its nuclear work," Ahmadinejad said, adding that major powers were using the U.N. Security Council as a "tool" to block Iran's progress.
