Lincoln National explores sale of unit: WSJ

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Life insurer Lincoln National Corp. (LNC.N) is in the process of hiring advisers for a potential sale of its broadcast and media unit, the Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site on Thursday.

The unit might be worth about $1.5 billion, the paper said, citing unnamed sources.

Lincoln could not immediately be reached for comment.
