UPDATE 1-Bharati Shipyard gets $64.8 mln vessel order

MUMBAI, April 30 (Reuters) - Bharati Shipyard Ltd. (BHAR.BO) said on Monday it signed a contract worth $64.80 million for construction and supply of a multipurpose offshore support vessel.

The contract was from Great Offshore Ltd. (GOFS.BO), it said in a statement.

The order was in lieu of a smaller, $17.44 million contract, signed on March 24, 2006, also for a multipurpose support vessel, Bharati said in a statement.

Shares in Bharati were up 0.23 percent to 412.25 rupees in the Mumbai market.
