At least 10 killed in car bomb in Baghdad: police

BAGHDAD | Tue May 29, 2007 6:55am EDT

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - At least 10 people were killed and 35 wounded on Tuesday when a car bomb exploded in a busy market in southwestern Bagdad, police said.

Police sources said the car bomb targeted civilians in the majority Shi'ite district of Amil.

Earlier, a bomb planted in a parked bus killed at least 22 people and wounded 55 others in central Baghdad.
