Israel launches air strikes in Gaza

GAZA (Reuters) - Israel launched air strikes targeting Palestinian rocket launch sites in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, the first air strikes since Hamas seized control of the territory last week.
Gaza militants earlier fired at least one makeshift rocket into southern Israel, the army said.
