Renewable Energy Group files for $150 mln IPO

July 16 (Reuters) - Renewable Energy Group Inc. filed with U.S. regulators on Monday to raise up to $150 million in an initial public offering of common stock.

The Ralston, Iowa-based company told the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in a preliminary prospectus that Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs & Co., Banc of America Securities and Thomas Weisel Partners were underwriting the IPO.

The filing did not reveal how many shares the company planned to sell or the expected price.

The company plans to apply for listing on The New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "RWE." (Reporting by Purwa Khandelwal in Bangalore)
