Largardere puts up for sale Virgin France-report
PARIS, July 24 (Reuters) - French media group Lagardere (LAGA.PA) has hired Societe Generale to sell its retail branch Virgin France which includes Virgin megastores and online retail music sites, Les Echos reported on Tuesday.
The business daily quoted a source close to the deal saying the process was under way and Lagardere dismissing it as "a recurring rumour that has no reality today."
Lagardere could not immediately be reached for comment.
Virgin France is run under a licence deal with Britain's Virgin group.
