AXA to sell Taiwan unit to China Life Insurance Co

PARIS, July 25 (Reuters) - AXA (AXAF.PA), Europe's second-biggest insurer by revenue, said on Wednesday it would sell its Winterthur Life Taiwan Branch unit to China Life Insurance Co Ltd (601628.SS).

AXA did not disclose the sale price but said in a statement that Winterthur Life Taiwan Branch had a premium volume of around 100 million euros ($138 million) and a 0.35 percent market share.
