(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1200 GMT on Saturday:

BAGHDAD - A car bomb killed four people and wounded 22 others in Uqba Bin Nafie square in eastern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A mortar bomb wounded four people in the Hay al-Amil area of southwestern Baghdad, police said.

YOUSIFIYA - A roadside bomb killed one Iraqi soldier and wounded three others between Yousifiya and Mahmudiya, south of Baghdad, police said.

ISKANDARIYA - Gunmen killed one person in Iskandariya, 40 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, on Friday, police said.

ISKANDARIYA - A bomb killed a woman and wounded another person in Iskandariya on Friday, police said.

MUSSAYAB - A roadside bomb killed two women and wounded another person in Mussayab, 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, on Friday, police said.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces arrested 16 suspected insurgents during raids in central and northern Iraq on Saturday, the U.S. military said.
