World Bank plans Eco Index-linked bond: ABN AMRO
LONDON |
LONDON (Reuters) - The World Bank plans to sell a six-year euro floating rate note linked to the performance of the ABN AMRO Eco Index, sole lead manager ABN AMRO said on Monday.
The Eco-3Plus note will have an annual coupon linked to the ABN AMRO Eco Index with a 3 percent floor, ABN AMRO said.
The bond will be launched in the coming weeks after a subscription period, subject to market conditions.
The ABN AMRO Eco Index, created in association with Standard & Poor's, is made up of companies that produce alternative forms of energy, engage in water and waste management, or are involved in the production of catalysts used to reduce pollution.
The World Bank is triple-A rated, the highest possible, by Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings.
