Duff & Phelps IPO prices at $16/share

NEW YORK, Sept 27 (Reuters) - Duff & Phelps Corp, the New York-based financial services firm, said on Thursday its initial public offering priced 8.3 million shares of Class A common stock at $16 per share, below an earlier indicated range.

The shares were forecast to price within a range of $16.50 to $18.50, according to an underwriter.

Underwriters, led by Goldman Sachs and UBS Securities, have the option to purchase an additional 1.25 million shares to cover overallotments.

The company is expected to begin trading on Friday on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "DUF." (DUF.N)
