MEMSIC files with US SEC for $100 million IPO

WASHINGTON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - MEMSIC Inc., which provides advanced semiconductor sensor and system solutions based on integrated micro electro-mechanical systems, filed on Friday to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.

The Andover, Massachusetts-based company said in a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that Citi is underwriting the IPO.

The company plans to list its stock on the Nasdaq under the symbol "MEMS" (MEMS.O). (Reporting by Karey Wutkowski)
