UCB, Sanofi launch Xyzal in United States

BRUSSELS Oct 2 (Reuters) - Belgian pharmaceutical group UCB (UCB.BR) and France's Sanofi-Aventis (SASY.PA) said on Tuesday that allergy treatment Xyzal was now available by prescription in the United States.

Xyzal has been approved for use in adults and children of six years and older and, for UCB, is a successor to anthistamine Zyrtec.
