NEW YORK (Reuters) - News Corp's long-awaited Fox Business Network has raided Forbes magazine and Bloomberg Television to add to its staff, ahead of its October 15 launch.

Elizabeth MacDonald, a senior editor at Forbes and former Wall Street Journal reporter, joins the rival to General Electric Co's CNBC as stocks editor.

The Fox Business Network announcement on Thursday came shortly after CNBC said it hired Forbes magazine managing editor Dennis Kneale as its media and technology editor.

Robert Gray, a Bloomberg Television reporter, joins as a reporter based at the New York Stock Exchange.

Tracy Byrnes, a former morning business news correspondent for Fox affiliates in New York, Chicago and Washington D.C., and a Fox News guest, joins as a reporter.

Ashley Webster, a former anchor on local TV station WZTV-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, joins as a London-based reporter.
