FACTBOX-Military and civilian deaths in Iraq

(Reuters) - Insurgents killed a U.S. soldier and wounded five others near the northern Iraqi town of Baiji, the U.S. military reported on Wednesday.

A U.S. soldier was killed on Wednesday when a mine exploded in Salahuddin province, the U.S. military reported.

Following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq and Iraqi civilians killed in attacks since the U.S.-led invasion in March, 2003:

The U.S-led military coalition toll includes casualties from Iraq and the surrounding area where troops are stationed.
