Barr Pharmaceuticals gets nod for generic Estrostep Fe
Oct 26 (Reuters) - Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc BRL.N said its unit received approval from U.S. health regulators to manufacture and market a generic version of Warner Chilcott Co Inc's oral contraceptive Estrostep Fe. The generic drugmaker said it would launch its product immediately under the tradename TriLegest Fe. Estrostep Fe had annual sales of about $110 million for the year ended August 2007, the company added.
Warner Chilcott Co Inc is an unit of Warner Chilcott Ltd (WCRX.O).
