Watson Pharma to sell generic Estrostep Fe contraceptive

Oct 29 (Reuters) - Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc (WPI.N) said it launched a generic version of Warner Chilcott Co Inc's (WCRX.O) oral contraceptive, Estrostep Fe.

Under a supply agreement between the two companies, Warner Chilcott will supply the generic, known as Tilia, to Watson Pharma, which will market and sell it in the United States.

Warner Chilcott will receive a share of the profits from Watson's sales of the generic product in the U.S. market. (Reporting by Jennifer Robin Raj in Bangalore)
