Philippe Perthuis Named Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer forHachette Filipacchi Media U.S.

NEW YORK, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Jack Kliger, President & CEO, HachetteFilipacchi Media U.S., announced today that Philippe Perthuis, age 40, hasbeen named Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer HFM U.S. Perthuis iscurrently the Deputy Director of Finance for Lagardere Active in Paris. Hewill join HFM U.S. on December 1, 2007.

This year, Perthuis has been focusing on the restructuring andcentralization of the Finance and Administration systems in France followingthe merger of Lagardere Active and Hachette Filipacchi Medias. Prior to that,he served as Deputy General Manager for the company's Youth Channel whichincludes the cable television channels "Canal J", "TiJi", "Filles TV" and"Gulli."

In addition, Jim O'Donnell, currently Vice President/Controller, will addTreasurer to his title, becoming VP/Controller & Treasurer as of December 1.O'Donnell is a senior financial executive with experience in media,telecommunications and the advertising industries. He joined HFM U.S. in April2007. Before coming to HFM U.S., O'Donnell was Vice President of Finance &Controller, Time Warner Retail Sales & Marketing.

Antoine de Noyer, Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, will beleaving the company.
