Transactions with HealthTalk, SparkPeople make Revolution Health
only the second health property ever to top 200 million page views per
                                 month
WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--Revolution Health today announced that it has acquired the online
health information company HealthTalk and made a strategic investment
in the online health community SparkPeople, catapulting Revolution
Health Network into the second largest health property on the
Internet. Revolution Health Network now has more than 12 million
unique users and more than 200 million page views per month.

   "Revolution Health Network is the online health property for
people at all stages of health - from people seeking to improve
everyday health and fitness to people managing chronic conditions to
people receiving care," said Steve Case, chairman and CEO of
Revolution Health Group. "With HealthTalk and SparkPeople, Revolution
Health Network is now the second largest health property on the
Internet, generating more page views than MayoClinic, Everyday Health,
Yahoo! Health, iVillage Total Health and RealAge combined, putting us
within striking distance of being number one."

   Revolution Health Network is a collection of five online
properties owned or represented by Revolution Health Group. It
includes:

   -- RevolutionHealth.com, the comprehensive online site with
        health and wellness information, RevolutionRatings (a doctor
        search and rating tool), Medicine Chest (a leading source of
        information on treatments) and RevolutionHealth Groups (an
        online health community);

   -- CarePages.com, the leading online service to connect those who
        need care with friends and family;

   --  drugstore.com, the web's best source for online health-related
        purchases;

   -- HealthTalk.com, the most respected site for in-depth
        information on various health conditions; and

   -- SparkPeople.com, the web's most used online site for goal
        setting (with its affiliates BabyFit.com, SparkTeens.com and
        SparkRecipes.com).

   The fusion enables Revolution Health Networks to grow its audience
while providing consumers with an even more robust offering of
content, services and community for every stage of their lives and the
lives of their loved ones. It also establishes Revolution Health
Network as an essential media property for advertisers seeking to
reach consumers of health and fitness products and services.

   Today's transactions continue Revolution Health's ascent past
established online health properties such as NIH.org,
EverydayHealth.com and MayoClinic.com. With the new additions to the
Revolution Health Network, it is expected that in December it will
become the second online web property ever to top 200 million page
views in a single month.

   "Like Revolution Health, SparkPeople believes in offering
consumers the tools and information they need, then providing the
online community and support to help them become healthier," said
Chris Downie, founder and CEO of SparkPeople. "We look forward to the
collaboration our partnership will spark."

   "We are very excited about becoming part of Revolution Health,"
said Mike Cunnion, president of HealthTalk. "We are philosophically
aligned in our mission to provide the best and most useful health
information to consumers and to provide valuable new opportunities to
our advertisers."
