News Corp executive named Dow Jones CEO: report
NEW YORK |
NEW YORK (Reuters) - News Corp. NWSa.N executive Les Hinton is expected to be named Chief Executive of Dow Jones & Co DJ.N by Friday, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
News Corp's Times of London newspaper editor Robert Thomson is also expected to be named publisher of Dow Jones flagship newspaper the Wall Street Journal, the Journal reported citing unnamed sources.
Hinton, a long time News Corp employee and a former CEO of News America Publishing, was named executive chairman of News International in 1995.
