Glaxo drops bid to sell Requip CR in leg disorder

LONDON Dec 10 (Reuters) - GlaxoSmithKline Plc (GSK.L) said on Monday it would not pursue plans to sell a controlled release version of its drug Requip, known as Requip CR, for the treatment of restless leg syndrome.

"Our intention is to withdraw the NDA (new drug application)," a spokeswoman said. (Reporting by Ben Hirschler; Editing by Clara Marques)
