REDWOOD CITY, CA, Dec 13 (MARKET WIRE) --
NComputing, the leading provider of desktop virtualization software and
hardware, today announced that its technology was chosen to provide computing
access at the recently held Neighboring Countries of Iraq Ministerial
Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. The conference serves as a forum for sharing
viewpoints on current developments in Iraq, and was hosted by the Government of
Turkey. It was attended by senior ministers from Egypt, Iran, Kuwait, Syria,
and Saudi Arabia, and representatives from the UN Security Council, the G-8,
the Arab League and the European Union. The conference organizers selected
NComputing's
virtual PC technology to provide secure and reliable PC access to the more than
400 foreign ministers, journalists and other delegates at the conference.

The NComputing solution is based on a simple fact: today's PCs are so
powerful that the vast majority of applications only use a small fraction of the
computer's capacity. NComputing's virtualization software and hardware tap
this unused capacity so that it can be simultaneously shared by multiple users.
The NComputing virtualization software is loaded onto a standard Windows or
Linux PC. Each user's monitor, keyboard, and mouse connect to the shared PC
through a small and highly reliable NComputing access device. The device itself
has
no CPU, memory, or moving parts so it is easy to deploy and maintain. Over
500,000 NComputing systems have been deployed by 15,000 organizations to slash
their computing costs as much as 70% and electric consumption by 90%.

"The Conference chose to deploy NComputing technology because it is
reliable, secure, affordable and easy to install," said Mustafa Canoglu,
president
of NComputing's Turkish reseller Dojop. "Deploying individual PCs would have
taken days and would have been much more expensive. With NComputing we only
needed a fraction of the PCs." NComputing was deployed in the main operations
area
and press center, providing the delegates and journalists with secure and
reliable PC access.

"NComputing technology is a perfect fit for conferences that require
economical
and reliable PC access for its participants," said Stephen Dukker, Chairman and
CEO of NComputing. "It also can be installed very quickly and doesn't require
extra power lines or air conditioning. NComputing was successfully deployed at
the
World Trade Organization conference in Hong Kong where it supported over 11,000
delegates, and it was a perfect solution for this conference." Besides
conferences,NComputing systems have been deployed by thousands of schools,
businesses and
governments in over 70 countries.
