Turkish Arcelik says to grow via acquisitions

ISTANBUL Jan 7 (Reuters) - Turkish domestic appliances manufacturer Arcelik (ARCLK.IS) will continue to grow via acquisitions, CEO Aka Gunduz Ozdemir said on Monday.

He said foreign sales were expected to grow 23 percent in 2008, compared to growth of 28 percent in 2007. The Turkish white goods market would grow at least 5 to 6 percent in 2008, after shrinking an estimated 7 percent in 2007, he told reporters. (Reporting by Asli Kandemir)
