PITTSBURGH--(Business Wire)--Yves Carreau, proprietor of Sonoma Grille and co-owner of Seviche
located in Pittsburgh's Cultural District, developed two successful
dining concepts that serve special audiences flavorful fare with a
flare that keeps downtown diners coming back for more. On Monday,
January 7, Carreau was recognized by the Pennsylvania Restaurant
Association (Western Chapter) as 2007 Restaurateur of the Year for his
creative restaurant designs and mouth-watering menu offerings.
"I enjoy and believe in Pittsburgh's downtown area," said Yves
Carreau, proprietor, Sonoma Grille and co-owner, Seviche. "Downtown
should be the heart and soul of the city, where residents and visitors
can enjoy top-notch restaurants, theater, culture and shopping. In
2004, I opened up Sonoma Grille, which tends to target women, to
provide an exclusive California region experience."
Imagine high ceilings, cozy candlelit tables, authentic tapas
selections with the utmost flavoring and ingredient combinations, a
bar atmosphere filled with good conversation and a wine list that
boasts over 100 varieties. You have just arrived at Sonoma Grille,
where a meal without wine is like a day without sunshine.
From the valleys of Sonoma to the sands of South Beach, in 2007
Carreau opened the doors at Seviche, a small and intimate Nuevo Latino
restaurant that serves it up Seviche-style and continues to attract a
young crowd. Step into Seviche, where the music makes you want to
salsa and the Seviche makes your taste buds scream for more. Sip on a
mango mojito or sink your teeth into a bocadillo of choice. The energy
at Seviche continues even after hours.
"Step into Seviche where you get lost in the South Beach
atmosphere," said Carreau. "From traditional Seviche to bocadillos and
ensaladas, diners are guaranteed to walk away having had a wonderful
experience overall."
