WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- ZexSports President and Founder,
Espree Devora has been invited to participate on a panel of leading
entrepreneurs at Georgetown University. Taking place on January 11th at
McShane Lounge, the panel will be addressing students in the University's MBA
program.
Hosted by the Georgetown Entrepreneurship and Technology Alliance (GETA),
the conference will incorporate a series of group discussions and panel
presentations. Joining Devora on stage will be venture capitalists, angel
investors, as well as CEOs and entrepreneurs..
According to guest speaker Devora, "It is an honor to be a part of the
GETA conference and see how the action sports industry is fusing together with
the world of technology. Georgetown is a dynamic and historic university.
Students in the MBA program demonstrate diligence, innovation and
intelligence. It is extremely gratifying to assist in their journey toward
continuing great success."
The invite-only event will begin with the panel sharing details of their
business experiences, followed by a roundtable discussion between the speakers
and MBA students. Devora was among the speakers selected by GETA President,
Nasim Pahlavan, who was familiar with the growth and success of ZexSports.
"I have been tracking Espree's business since the launching of her
company," said Pahlavan. "She was selected based on the fact she is a
successful woman and entrepreneur in the IT world, and due to the fact that
ZexSports is still in the developmental phase."
As a panel participant, Devora will be discussing her role of leadership
in the action sports industry. Other panel topics will include the founding
and developing of a new business, overcoming common challenges, and obtaining
start-up capital. The audience, consisting of MBA students, will gain
practical information on how to start a company and enter the community of
venture capital. The goal of the GETA conference is to motivate students by
those who have succeeded in founding both service and product-based
businesses, as has Devora of ZexSports.
