PARIS Jan 15 (Reuters) - French hotels and services group Accor (ACCP.PA) is "completely confident" about 2008 given the limited exposure of its businesses to a slowdown in the United States, Chief Financial Officer Jacques Stern said on Tuesday.

"We are completely confident. We are not insensitive to the overall environment, but given our portfolio of hotels and services businesses...we are definitely protected in a more uncertain environment," Stern told reporters on a conference call on 2007 sales figures.

He said Accor expected Argentina's decision to phase out tax breaks on luncheon vouchers and other services would hit its 35 million euros business there but the impact on its services business overall was "digestible" and it was maintaining its medium term forecasts for services.
