DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Axial
Vector Engine Corporation (Pink Sheets: AXVC; Frankfurt: BAE1) today announced
today that the company has signed an MOU to test and demonstrate its Multi
Fuel Power and Water system using the AVEC 200 KW GENSET.
"Nakheel" (http://www.nakheel.com/), the master developer of the "World
Islands" project completed the breakwater last week opening this project to go
forward.
AVEC's 200 KW finished unit will be shown at the WETEX water and energy
conference in Dubai on March 11-13. It will then be deployed to the island
and will be demonstrated to prospective customers who wish to order mobile
power and water systems, which can produce electricity and potable water for a
fraction of the price of conventional systems.
Ahmed Khalifa, Acting CEO stated, "By 2010, 80% of the world's population
will live within 100 kilometers of the sea. Our ability to 'join' up to five
units, creating one megawatt of on-demand low cost power, deliverable anywhere
using the first true multi-fuel system and able to provide 'off peak' water
production for as little as $0.03 per gallon represents the type of technology
that AVEC is investing in and the world needs. We will now be bringing the
largest and the best developers and investors of the Gulf Region to view the
future of offshore development."
