                             Director/PDMR Dealings

Imperial Energy was informed today that Peter Levine, Chairman of Imperial
Energy sold 1,545,777 ordinary shares representing 3.02% of the issued share
capital of the Company through Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO on 15 January 2008 for
1675p per share. Peter's remaining holding is 3,134,000 shares representing
6.13% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition to this, Peter
also remains interested in conditional LTIP awards over some additional 675,000
shares.
