                            Christie Group plc ('the Company')

                             Director / PDMR Shareholding

The Company was notified today that Mr. Chris Day, a Director of Christie Group
plc, acquired 10,000 shares in the Company at 131p on 14th January 2008.

Following this transaction Mr Day's holding has increased to 542,189 ordinary
shares in Christie Group plc, representing approximately 2.15 per cent of the
total voting rights of the Company.
