                          Re: Cancellation of Listing



The Directors of SSGA Fixed Income Funds Plc ("the Fund") wish to announce that
they have applied to the Irish Stock Exchange to delist the C Share Class (the "
Shares") in the SSgA Active Euro Government Bond Fund a sub-fund of the Fund.



Application has been made for the Shares of the Fund to be removed from the
Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and from trading on the Main Market of
the Exchange and the Irish Stock Exchange has agreed that the Shares will be
delisted with effect from 17 January 2008.
