                      MITIE Group PLC - Directorate Change

On 14 January 2008 Colin Hale stood down as a main Board director of MITIE Group
PLC.  Colin joined the Group in April 1998 and was appointed to the Board in
August 2001.  Colin made a significant contribution to the Group's business in
the areas for which he was responsible over the last 9 years and the Board would
like to wish him well for the future.
