HOUSTON--(Business Wire)--Global Warming Solutions, Inc. (Pink Sheets:GWSO) today announced
successful testing of novel, hybrid (heat and electricity generation)
solar modules created for the LETG (Light Electric Thermal Generator)
project. The combined energy efficiency of the modules reached values
of 85%, even exceeding energy harvesting efficiency of green plants.

The unusually high efficiency of the LETG modules is achieved
using a combination of technologies which were originally intended for
use in industrial strength lasers.

"Several of our technologies were used in the development of
powerful industrial lasers and endured the trials of high illumination
intensities and high temperatures," said Dr. Alexander Kornaraki,
Chief Operating Officer of Global Warming Solutions. "The most
interesting part of our module is the quantum pump that separates the
heat and the electrical photons of the incident solar light, and then
pumps them over with minimal losses to the well-defined spectral range
that is most effectively converted to electricity by the solar cells.
It is the separation of the quanta by their energy along with our
novel design solutions that allows us to achieve such spectacular
efficiencies of conversion."

The ratio of electrical energy to heat produced by the LETG
modules is 1 to 4 with silicon solar cells and 1 to 3 with gallium
arsenide photovoltaics. Using reflectors and two-sided silicon cells,
the LETG modules produce up to 300 watts of electrical energy per
square meter (28 W/SF) and up to 1000 watts of heat (93 W/SF). The
cost of produced electricity is only one half of that generated using
the conventional solar panels presently available on the market. The
cost of heat generated by the LETG modules is just one tenth of that
generated by the best available commercial solar heating modules. The
combined cost savings of the LETG reduce the break-even time by the
factor of 2-2.5, therefore making the LETG free to the consumer in
just 5 years.

Today, one of the pilot LETG systems comprised of the hybrid solar
modules, converters and batteries covers 100% of the energy needs of a
single-family house. The 10 square meters of installed solar panels
produces 10-20 kWh of electricity and 20-80 kWh of heat daily
depending on the season. The system will perform with high efficiency
not only in the southern regions, such as the Sun Belt, but also as
far north as Alaska. Such tolerance to different climate zones is also
new to the industry.

   About Global Warming Solutions, Inc.

Global Warming Solutions develops and commercializes technologies
that help mitigate Global Warming and its effect on our planet. The
Company targets three areas that help reduce the extent of Global
Warming and fight issues that have risen in consequence: Clean Energy,
Carbon Control, and Water Purification. Current climate models predict
that global temperatures will rise sharply over the next century. The
increase in temperatures can be slowed or eliminated by decreasing the
amounts of greenhouse gases released into the Earth's atmosphere.
Global Warming Solutions seeks to leverage its experience and
management to help make a difference in the fight for climate control.
