Investing in St. Louis: Scottrade Continues Commitment to the Community with the Second Annual ''7 for 14'' Donation Program to Benefit the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund

Scottrade Will Donate $7 to the St. Louis Blues' Charitable
Organization for Every Account Opened in the St. Louis Metropolitan
Area between Jan. 15 and April 15
ST. LOUIS--(Business Wire)--St. Louis-based Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online
investment firm and the long-term naming rights partner of the St.
Louis Blues' home arena, Scottrade Center, is announcing today its
plans for the second annual "7 for 14" donation program to benefit the
St. Louis Blues 14 Fund. The 14 Fund is the Blues' charitable
organization dedicated to improving the health and wellness of young
people in the St. Louis area.

As part of Scottrade's Investing in St. Louis program, Scottrade
will donate $7 to the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund for every brokerage
account opened online by a St. Louis metropolitan resident or
in-person at one of Scottrade's six St. Louis-area offices between
today, Jan. 15, and the tax deadline on April 15. Scottrade launched
the program for the first time in 2007, donating $10,000 to the
charity. This year, the program will last for three months instead of
one, allowing for more accounts to be opened and, in turn, a larger
donation to the charity. Scottrade is known for its $7 online stock
trades and 335 branch offices, including locations in South St. Louis
County, Des Peres, Clayton, Chesterfield, O'Fallon, Mo., and Fairview
Heights, Ill.

In 2007, the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund awarded grants to the Delta
Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments, Diversity Awareness
Partnership, Friends of Kids with Cancer, Gateway Locomotives, Girls
on the Run, H.I.S. K.I.D.S., Life Skills, and the Missouri Hockey
Association.

"Scottrade's partnership with the Blues is designed to be a
benefit for the entire metropolitan area," said Rodger Riney,
Scottrade's President and CEO. "I hope St. Louisans across the
metropolitan area will consider Scottrade as their broker of choice so
the Investing in St. Louis program and our donation to the St. Louis
Blues 14 Fund can be as significant as possible. We are proud to
partner with these organizations for the second year of this program
and look forward to making a sizable donation."

The donation will be made for every type of account opened at
Scottrade during this period; accounts can be opened with as little as
$500.

Scottrade's impact on the St. Louis area can be felt beyond
Scottrade Center. More than 800 of Scottrade's nearly 2,000 employees
nationwide work in St. Louis. In addition to Scottrade's partnership
with the Blues, Scottrade sponsors the Alzheimer's Association's
Memory Walk, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the Humane
Society's Bark in the Park.

Scottrade and its associates also support the American Cancer
Society, American Stroke Association, Mothers Against Drunk Driving,
National Kidney Foundation, National MS Society, Special Olympics,
Rebuilding Together and United Way. Scottrade is also a corporate
sponsor of the St. Louis Art Museum and The Muny.

In December, Scottrade was named a recipient of the 2007 Greater
St. Louis Top 50 award, which is presented by the St. Louis Regional
Chamber and Growth Association and Deloitte and recognizes companies
in the region who actively participate in the community and reflect
the positive aspects of doing business in Greater St. Louis.
