Veteran Financial Services Industry Executive Joins Company That
Provides "Free Agent"-Style Executive Project Engagements
BOSTON--(Business Wire)--Start-up professional services firm EPOCH(SM) today announced the
appointment of veteran financial services industry executive Frimette
T. Field as its partner responsible for new business development. In
her new position, Field will become a key member of the EPOCH
management team with responsibility for developing business
partnerships and direct sales on a national basis. At EPOCH, Field
will apply her extensive senior management experience and unique
financial services industry perspective to specific client challenges
in executive recruiting and talent management.

EPOCH is the first company to pioneer the concept of engagement
style work - a.k.a. "workshifting" - by matching highly experienced
executives and accomplished professionals with financial services and
other companies that need them for limited time and variable cost
projects.

"Frim is a proven financial services industry leader with more
than 25 years of senior management experience," said EPOCH Founder and
President Linda Stewart. "Her years at EPG, Inc., Fidelity, BayBanks
and Bank of New England make her uniquely qualified to help our
clients solve their talent management and executive recruiting
challenges head on. That's why I am very excited to welcome her to our
management team. She will be a key strategic contributor to EPOCH's
growth and success."

"By joining EPOCH's management team now I hope to play a pivotal
role in the company's growth within the financial services sector in
particular," said Field. "EPOCH is the first company founded to tap
the growing pool of executives who prefer project- type assignments
that enable them to make a strategic contribution on an interim basis.
EPOCH's comprehensive services for matching these executives with the
financial services and other companies that need them help these
organizations to fill the coming senior management talent gap."

Prior to joining EPOCH, Field was a director, shareholder and
executive vice president with EPG, Inc., a leading investment
management advisor whose clients included both community-based
financial institutions and a select private banking clientele. She
worked consultatively with presidents, senior leadership teams, and
boards of directors, bringing clarity to their strategic direction and
developing tactics that incorporated industry best practices.

Before EPG, she was a senior vice president with Fidelity
Investments, leading the national client management function for a
major division where she developed business plans and strategies to
redefine and reposition wealth management products and services. Prior
to this, as an executive vice president at BayBanks, Inc. Field had
corporate-wide responsibility for the Private Banking, Personal Trust/
Investment Services, Employee Benefits and Mutual Funds businesses and
was a Management Committee member. Previously she was with Bank of New
England, where she spent 16 years as a senior vice president and
leader of the Wealth Management Group and 10 years as a human
resources vice president.

Field received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from
Simmons College. She is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program
at Harvard Business School and the Northwestern University/American
Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School. She holds Series
7, Series 24 and Series 65 NASD licenses.

Field's activities within the community encompass non-profit board
and industry association leadership positions.
