Private Equity Fund Lawyer Edward Nelson Joins Gibson Dunn in New York

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased
to announce that Edward Nelson has joined the firm's New York office as a
partner.  Previously a partner with Dewey & LeBoeuf, he focuses his practice
on the organization of private investment funds and transactions involving the
funds.

Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.  He graduated cum laude from Harvard Law
School in 1994.
