Arianne Starts Drilling on the Opinaca Property, James Bay.

SAGUENAY, QUEBEC, Jan 15 (MARKET WIRE) --
Arianne Resources ("Arianne") (TSX VENTURE: DAR)(FRANKFURT: JE9)(OTCBB:
DARUF) is pleased to announce that it started the drilling campaign on
its Opinaca property, James Bay, Quebec. Drilling was previously
interrupted during the Fall of 2007 following the relocation of the work
camp in order for Hydro-Quebec to build access roads for the Eastmain 1-A
project. This road is now accessible for us.

These 2008 drill holes will essentially test in-depth continuity of the
gold mineralisation on the 4 zones previously outlined and drilled in
2006 i.e. the Contact Zone : 4.73 g/t Au on 3.1 m ; the Isabelle Zone :
31.44 g/t Au on 2.6 m ; the Bull Zone : 1.52 g/t Au on 13.6 m and the
Chino Zone : 3.30 g/t Au on 6.75 m). This will be a 3,000-metre drilling
campaign.

In 2007, we have tested some of the numerous IP geophysical anomalies
identified during last winter (see March 29, 2007 press release). Results
will be obtaines and assayed within the first quarter of 2008(Q1). The
complete results of this drilling campaign will be announced at the end
of the drilling campaign.

Arianne wishes to remind its shareholders that the exploration budget for
2008 is close to $3,000,000. These funds will be invested on its
Opinaca/James Bay, Massicotte/Detour Lake and R-14/Chibougamau gold
projects as well as its uranium and rare earth materials projects in
Natashquan on Quebec's North Shore.
