              REPURCHASE OF MANAGED GROWTH SHARES FOR CANCELLATION


JPMorgan Elect plc has today purchased 90,000 Managed Growth shares for
cancellation at 377.00 pence per share.



Following the transaction the remaining Managed Growth shares in issue total
47,081,848.
