Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund II Declares Distribution

BOSTON--(Business Wire)--Eaton Vance Management, the Boston-based investment adviser, today declared a distribution on the common shares of Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund II (NYSE: EOS) (the "Fund") of $0.144 per share. The distribution will be paid on January 31, 2008 to shareholders of record on January 24, 2008. The ex-date is January 22, 2008. The amount of monthly distribution may vary depending on a number of factors. As portfolio and market conditions change, the rate of distribution may change. At this time, the Fund believes that a portion of its distribution may be comprised of short-term capital gains or a return of capital. The final determination of tax characteristics of the Fund's distributions will occur after the end of the year, at which time it will be reported to shareholders.
