Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund II Declares Distribution

BOSTON--(Business Wire)--Eaton Vance Management, the Boston-based investment adviser, today
declared a distribution on the common shares of Eaton Vance Enhanced
Equity Income Fund II (NYSE: EOS) (the "Fund") of $0.144 per share.
The distribution will be paid on January 31, 2008 to shareholders of
record on January 24, 2008. The ex-date is January 22, 2008.

   The amount of monthly distribution may vary depending on a number
of factors. As portfolio and market conditions change, the rate of
distribution may change. At this time, the Fund believes that a
portion of its distribution may be comprised of short-term capital
gains or a return of capital. Further information will be available

determination of tax characteristics of the Fund's distributions will
occur after the end of the year, at which time it will be reported to
shareholders.
