100 EUR per Metric Ton, Effective February 1st RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(Business Wire)--Reichhold announced today a price increase of 100 EUR per metric ton (0.10 EUR /Kg), effective for all orders shipped on or after February 01, 2008, on all of its products sold to the Composites Industry in Europe. "This increase is an unavoidable response to the continuously increasing prices of all main key feedstock and raw materials utilized to manufacture Polyester Resins," explained Reichhold Vice President of Sales, EMEA, Alberto Piccinotti. Escalating crude oil prices combined with a tight balance between available raw material feedstock supplies and strong demand are driving up the cost of the raw materials in the region. In a very volatile raw material market, Reichhold makes every effort to mitigate the impact of raw material costs and to secure the volumes required to support Composites Industry growth. We appreciate our customers understanding. For more information on Reichhold's technologies for the Composites Industry, visit www.reichhold.com or email composites@reichhold.com.
