WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- An initial group of eight
leading companies have formed the Carbon Management Council, a nonprofit
educational association dedicated to helping organizations develop solutions
to managing their carbon emissions. The Carbon Management Council will be the
first stop for decision-makers preparing a carbon management program as well
as those looking to discover the market opportunities created by reducing
their carbon footprint.

"Strategies to reduce carbon emissions need to be as unique as the
organization implementing them," said Council President Jeffrey Serfass. "The
Council will provide a forum for leaders to determine what solutions will work
best for their company." The Council will also inform its members about
legislative developments related to carbon management.

The Council was officially incorporated in the District of Columbia on
December 17, 2007. The founding member companies of the Council are: Alliance
Technical Services; Arizona Public Service Company; CH2M HILL; The Entech
Group; Entergy Services; HyRadix; Schlumberger Carbon Services; and SunTrust
Banks.

The founding members expect to be joined by a wide range of organizations
interested in utilizing the diversity of the Council to assist in their plans
for carbon management. "We welcome all organizations to join us in determining
how to best move forward in a carbon-constrained world," said Brent Dorsey,
Board Member from Entergy Services.
