NYFIX Appoints Mitchel A. Lenson to its Board of Directors

NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--NYFIX, Inc. (Pink Sheets: NYFX), a trusted provider of innovative
solutions that optimize trading efficiency, announced today that
Mitchel A. Lenson has been appointed to its Board of Directors.

   Previously, Mr. Lenson was Group Chief Information Officer at
Deutsche Bank from 2000 until his retirement in 2005. Prior to that,
he was with Swiss Bank Corporation, which he joined in 1994 and
remained with through the creation of UBS where he acted as Managing
Director and the Global Head of Operations. Previously Mr. Lenson has
held positions as non-executive Chairman of BCS PLC, a board member of
European clearing firm Euroclear, and was a founding member of the
European Securities Forum. Mr. Lenson is currently a partner in
Olivant Advisers Limited.

   Mr. Lenson received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree
in business finance from City of London Polytechnic and his MBA in
finance and banking from City University Business School.
