GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.--(Business Wire)--Tim Humphreys has been promoted to vice president of operations for HealthTrans, a national pharmacy benefits administrator (PBA). Humphreys' responsibilities include overseeing the pharmacy service help desk, member service call center, strategy, client implementations and PBA operations. He manages a staff of more than 20 employees and works with all departments at HealthTrans. With over 20 years in the pharmacy industry, he began his career in retail pharmacy as a pharmacy technician, a third party administrator, and a pharmacy system administrator for various retail pharmacies/regional chains. Humphreys' leadership in pharmacy has resulted in new reporting and analysis that have had a positive impact on operations and client service. Under his direction, new claims systems allow greater flexibility and control of plan design in support of clients' healthcare goals. Humphreys holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Connecticut.
