New Comerica Banking Center in Arizona Continues Expansion in Maricopa County

New Mesa office is fourth since Dec. 10, brings total to nine in greater

PHOENIX, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Comerica Bank, one of the top
20 banks in the U.S., announced the opening of its ninth banking center in
Maricopa County and an acceleration of its growth in the region.

The Dallas-based bank with $60 billion in assets opened three new banking
centers in greater Phoenix in December 2007, and the newest office at 5225
South Power Road is the third Mesa office.
The bank, which three years ago had one banking center in Arizona, also
announced that the pace of growth in greater Phoenix would continue this year,
with another four new offices expected to open. Comerica has 83 banking
centers in California and nine in Arizona.
"We opened a total of 16 new banking centers in Arizona and California in
all of 2007 -- a record pace of growth for Comerica in the West -- and we plan
on increasing that pace next year," said Meredith Russell, regional president
of Comerica Bank in Arizona.
"The two Mesa locations in the past month dramatically improve access to
our financial services by businesses and residents in the prosperous East
Valley," he said.
The new banking centers in Maricopa County:
-- Mesa, 5225 South Power Road, Mesa; Kris Button, manager; opened
Jan. 3.
-- Mesa, 925 N. Dobson Road, Mesa; Rose Ivezaj; opened Dec. 28.
-- Scottsdale, 4545 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 106, Scottsdale; Dennis
Fernandez, manager; opened Dec. 26.
-- Phoenix, 2804 N. 44th Street, Phoenix; Courtney Benvenuto, manager;
opened Dec. 10.
