Capital Trust Announces Tax Treatment of 2007 Dividends

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Capital Trust, Inc. (NYSE: CT)
announced today the tax treatment of its 2007 common stock dividends.
During 2007, total dividends on Capital Trust's class A common stock were
$5.10 per share. For tax reporting purposes, 100% of the 2007 distributions
will be classified as ordinary, non-qualified dividends. The following table
summarizes the payments on a quarterly basis.
