Farmers Insurance Executive Vice President Kevin Kelso Named Vice Chairman of National Safety Group

LOS ANGELES--(Business Wire)--Farmers Group, Inc. announced Kevin Kelso, Executive Vice
President, has been named vice chairman of the board for the Institute
for Business & Home Safety (IBHS), the property loss reduction trade
association of the property/casualty insurance industry. Kelso has
also been named chair of the executive committee for IBHS.

   Based in Tampa, Florida, IBHS counts among its members more than
200 property-casualty insurers and reinsurers. Its mission is to
reduce the social and economic effects of natural disasters and other
property losses by conducting research and advocating improved
construction, maintenance and preparation practices.

research mission of the IBHS," said Mr. Kelso. "I am honored to be
able to serve in the leadership of this group, particularly at this
critical point in its development."
