BUDAPEST Jan 15 (Reuters) - Hungary's competition authority GVH has fined Magyar Telekom MTEL.BU 75 million forints ($440,200) for misleading advertisements, the GVH said in a statement on Tuesday.

The GVH said Magyar Telekom did not provide digital subscriber line customers with the bandwidth it advertised and did not always make clear that some of its advertised services were valid only with long-term contracts. Magyar Telekom was not immediately available to comment. (Reporting by Balazs Koranyi, editing by Will Waterman)
