SK Telecom to spend $701 mln on networks in H1

SEOUL Jan 15 (Reuters) - South Korea's top mobile service operator SK Telecom (017670.KS) said on Tuesday it would invest 655 billion won ($700.7 million) to upgrade and expand its networks.

The spending will be made during the first half of 2008, SK Telecom said in a filing with the Korea Exchange. ($1=934.7 Won) (Reporting by Rhee So-eui; Editing by Keiron Henderson)
